It is critical to carry out this mission in an environment of high-level learning, discovery, industry engagement, networking and collaboration. A synergistic approach to research, teaching, service and leadership creates this environment.”
Dr. Jimenez is actively working with industry through the Center of High Performance Systems (CHiPS). His projects have been supported by companies such as SEMATECH, 3M, NEC America, among others. He involves undergraduate and graduate students in his projects and in his research publications; the aim is that his students will hopefully join these companies as interns or full-time industrial engineers, or they will pursue masters or Ph.D. degrees.
